Procrastination, busy days or problems in personal life… No matter why you need to finish your task urgently, there are general tips that help you to succeed and get your fast essay.
#1 Define the Amount of the Work
The amount of work usually is set in the description of the task. But it can be defined in various ways. For example, it requires a concrete number of pages or words.
Try to present the amount of work in the form you understand best. It will make your urgent job easier. Also remember, the 4 or 5 pages can consist of 1000 to 2500 words. Or even less or more. It depends on the spacing elements, font type and size, etc.
#2 Define the Topic
The complexity of the essay depends on its topic and your awareness of it. If the field sounds very hard to understand, try to do the following options:
- Do research. Almost all information exists on the Internet. Use Google. Search at forums like Reddit or Quora or even social networks, because people explain complex things in simple words there. It may not be enough for a complete essay but still enough to dig deep into the topic.
- Try to smash the main topic in a few parts. For example, it will be easier to review what happened at the First World War at the beginning, than try to define its consequences at once.

#3 Define the Time You Have
It is important to define the time after defining the work and topic. Because when you understand what and how much you need to do it is easier to understand how fast you can do it.
There are two values of time you have. The first one is the deadline. It is set in the description of the task. And you can not finish your task after the deadline. However, there is a loophole. It connected with the second value.
The second value is the minimum time you need to complete your task. This value depends on the topic, number of words and abilities. Be honest with yourself. Yes, maybe your friend can write the same number of words in 6 hours. But if you think you are not so quick and spend 10 or even 24 hours, set 10 or 24.
Sometimes the time you need is longer than the time you have. Don`t panic, it’s still alright. Try to ask your teacher to extend the terms for a few days. But do it as soon as you can, don`t wait for the moment when the deadline is now.
#4 Use a “Progressive JPEG” Method
There are two ways of doing some tasks. The first one is the one where you do it step to step. It is very strict and structured. But you can face the fear of the blank slate in this way. Because you`ll have a feeling that everything should be perfect from the beginning.
The second one is easier. It is called “progressive JPEG” because of the technique used for loading JPEG pictures on the web-sites. At first, the picture is shown in very bad quality, then better and better.
If you write an essay with this method you can start with writing very badly, but compete in short terms. And then you improve it more and more. And no matter how much time you spend, you already can show complete work.
#5 Take a Help
When the deadline is today or you have to finish your task overnight, it is not a shame to ask for some help. Use any available resources. It probably won’t be an instant decision, but a day, 8 or even 4 hours seems possible. The first four pieces of advice still will be useful if you decide to take some help.
Understanding what you need to do and the amount of the work will help you to define when you should take the help and get a complete task on the deadline. Some of your research also can be helpful but not necessarily. If you have no samples it is okay too.
