New Year’s NY and its decorations

Dyker Heights is a small area in Brooklyn not far from Coney Island and Bay Ridge that hides a big holiday secret. Every year after Thanksgiving, the area’s residents decorate their homes with bright lights, Christmas toys and lots of garlands, and turn the streets into a kind of festive Disneyland. You will not find such a Christmas and New Year mood anywhere in New York, even Rockefeller Center fades into the background.
