NY free concerts and how to visit them

Every summer in New York, free concerts are held, which gather thousands of music lovers of different styles. Beginning in late May, every Friday morning shows Good Morning America (GMA) and TODAY compete in ratings, inviting the most famous musicians to perform at their concerts. The GMA puts on a show in Central Park, and Today at Rockefeller Center. The recording of Good Morning America (ABC) runs from 7 am to 9 am. The artists perform several songs. If you want to get to the concert, it is better to drive up to the opening of Central Park at 6 am. The stage is set at the Rumsey Playfield.

The nearest tube station is 68th Street – Hunter College, tube line 6. Be sure to bring water, phone / camera, comfortable shoes and something to keep you busy while waiting for your favorite artist to perform. In 2014, GMA invites such stars as Ed Sheeran, Florence + the Machine, Walk the Moon, Hozier, Jason Derulo and others to concerts. GMA 2015 Today Show (NBC) concerts are recorded from 7 am to 9 am. To get to the stage, it is best to approach Rockefeller Center by 5:00. Free tickets are handed out on 48th Street (between 5th and 6th Avenues) on a first-come, first-served basis. The lines, of course, depend on the popularity of the performing artist.

In the summer of 2015, NBC will delight with performances by Meghan Trainor, Fall Out Boy, Nate Ruess, Flo Rida, Imagine Dragons, Keith Urban, Jennifer Lopez and others. Many of the stars who play free concerts in the summer often come to New York on their tours. If the pillow persuades you not to get up at 5 in the morning, and the alarm is brutally ignored, and as a result, you will not be able to get to the free concert, there is always a chance to see your favorite artists using the services of Ticketmaster. The choice is yours.
